Mr. Carroll, because of his extensive experience as a trial lawyer, adjunct professor of trial practice, and arbitrator, has special skills and background in resolving discovery disputes.  He is available to act as a special master in handling discovery disputes between parties to litigation, either by agreement of the parties or pursuant to appointment by the Court.

In complex cases having a special master to resolve discovery disputes provides the parties with significant benefits including consistency of forum, institutional litigation history, familiarity with the details of the matter, rapid access to hearings on discovery disputes and availability to participate in person in depositions in out of state locations to expedite immediate rulings and to reduce costs.

Fees for such services are usually billed on an hourly basis.  When acting as a discovery special master travel costs and expenses and all other costs are billed without mark-up.
